QLD Correctional Precinct (Gatton) 

Launched in 2008, the South East Queensland Correctional Precinct at Gatton is a 3 kilometre long x 2 kilometre wide precinct that will be progressively developed to house approximately 3000 prisoners in total. Stage 1 of the precinct will consist of a 300-bed women's prison containing some 30 buildings.

Due for completion in the second half of 2011, Fencepac is working closely with managing contractors Baulderstone to install the perimeter security fencing on this $367 million dollar project. Lotus Glen Correction Centre

Fencepac are proud to be apart of the $445m refurbishment of Lotus Glen Correction Centre (LGCC). Located just outside Mareeba, an hour's drive from Cairns LGCC is Queensland's most northern correctional centre. Working in conjunction with managing contractors THIESS Pty Ltd, Fencepac will be responsible for installing security fencing to the perimeter of the new facilities at LGCC. 

 

 

 

The first stage of redevelopment at LGCC is expected to be completed by December 2011 with a second stage beginning in early 2012. More information on this project can be found at the department of corrective services website found Here
