Retaining Walls

Fencepac’s funtional retaining walls are constructed for purely structural needs. For example, they can be used to level, retain or terrace a sloping area, to maintain an existing grade around a tree or some other landscape feature. Retaining walls can also be added along the bottom of fences or acoustic barriers.

Fencepac’s experience has found that the higher the retained slope, the more structural stability is required. Many times, criticial structural requirements necessitate engineering a design that considers the length of slope, site-soil characteristics, the retaining wall material used, construction space available and height of the wall. Design assistance is available.

Fencepac can supply and install materials for retaining walls that take into consideration the structure and strength requirements as well as the desired visual effect for our clients. Our clients “budget” will always play an important part in the deciding factors on retaining walls.

Concrete Retaining Walls

We supply and install specially engineered concrete retaining walls, in a number of finishes. Concrete sleepers can be 'flat faced' or curve edged with a timber grain texture, and can be  mounted between steel piers or onto concrete posts.

Timber Retaining Walls

Timber retaining walls can be installed using either pine or hardwood sleepers, or rural logs. Timber offers a cheaper alternative to Concrete retaining walls, and looks natural, decorative and neat. Use timber retaining walls through garden beds, along roads and driveways, below fencing  or to terrace a sloping area.

Fencepac have supplied and installed may different designs in Timber retaining walls, and can help you tailor a solution that will work for your next project.
