Fencepac manufactures and installs reflective panel systems — which deflect sound — alongside absorptive panels, which absorb sound energy. Both sit in the same TMR-registered noise wall offering as our concrete, timber, and transparent walls.
Reflective when the corridor needs sound deflected, not absorbed
Absorptive and reflective panel systems are listed on Fencepac's noise wall range because the acoustic design is not always the same treatment on every frontage. Reflective panels deflect sound; absorptive panels absorb sound energy.
A solid reflective or decorative concrete face is also specified on road and rail corridors where the model calls for a reflective treatment rather than an absorptive panel. We design these systems with structural engineering and acoustic modelling in-house, then manufacture and install them as part of the same design-and-construct package used on major Queensland corridors.
Composite systems combining materials are part of the offering where the project needs a mix of reflective, absorptive, and decorative faces — not a single panel type forced onto every frontage. Absorptive systems are covered on their own product page.
