Noise walls/Absorptive noise walls
Fencepac BarriersAbsorptive and reflective panel systems for acoustic corridors
Fencepac Barriers manufactures and installs absorptive panel systems — which absorb sound energy — and reflective panels, which deflect sound. Both sit in the same TMR-registered noise wall offering as our concrete, timber, and transparent walls.
Absorptive when the corridor needs sound absorbed, not only blocked
Absorptive and reflective panel systems are listed on Fencepac Barriers' noise wall range because the acoustic design is not always a solid reflective concrete face. Absorptive panels absorb sound energy; reflective panels deflect it.
We design these systems with structural engineering and acoustic modelling in-house, then manufacture and install them as part of the same design-and-construct package used on major Queensland road and rail corridors.
Composite systems combining materials are also part of the offering where the project needs a mix of performance and finish — not a single panel type forced onto every frontage.

When absorptive or reflective panels are specified
Absorptive and reflective systems we install
The acoustic treatment is set by the model and the specification — then installed as one Fencepac Barriers package.
Absorptive Panel Systems
Panels specified to absorb sound energy on road and rail corridors where a reflective face is not the right acoustic answer.
Reflective Panel Systems
Reflective panels that deflect sound, used where the acoustic model and the specification call for a reflective treatment.
Composite Acoustic Systems
Composite systems combining materials for a mix of acoustic performance and finish on the same corridor.
Acoustic Modelling
In-house acoustic modelling alongside structural engineering so the panel type matches the design, not a catalogue default.
Decorative Acoustic Faces
Colours, textures, and louvre or decorative faces where the absorptive or reflective system also has to meet planning requirements.
TMR Corridor Delivery
Installed on live roads and rail corridors by TMR Level 2 registered crews, with the same traffic management and staging we run on concrete packages.
Acoustic barrier packages we have delivered
Published Fencepac noise wall packages — the same acoustic-barrier capability that includes absorptive and reflective panel systems.

Coomera North (Stage 1)
Design, supply, and construction of noise barriers on the Coomera Connector Stage 1 corridor, including coloured acoustic panels.

Frequently asked questions — Absorptive noise walls
Absorptive panels absorb sound energy. Reflective panels deflect sound. Fencepac Barriers designs, manufactures, and installs both, and composite systems where the project needs a mix.
Yes. Fencepac offers full design capability including structural engineering, acoustic modelling, and custom aesthetic design as part of a design-and-construct noise wall package.
Yes. We deliver composite systems combining multiple materials for acoustic performance and finish — including concrete, timber, steel, aluminium, and transparent sections where specified.
Fencepac Barriers is a TMR Level 2 registered noise barrier constructor and registered product supplier. We install the panel system the TMR specification and acoustic design require.
