Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our noise barrier solutions.
Yes. Fencepac Barriers is a Level 2 registered noise barrier constructor and a registered product supplier with Transport and Main Roads Queensland (TMR). In practical terms, that means we are one of only a small number of Queensland companies approved to both supply and build noise barriers on major infrastructure projects.
Fencepac manufactures and installs precast concrete panels, in-situ concrete barriers, acoustic timber barriers, absorptive and reflective panel systems, transparent barriers (acrylic/polycarbonate), and steel or aluminium noise barriers. We also deliver composite systems where the project needs a mix of materials, performance, and finish.
Yes. Fencepac has an in-house manufacturing facility at Wacol, Brisbane, where we produce precast concrete noise barrier panels, decorative panels, and other precast elements. That gives us tighter quality control, better coordination, and faster lead times than relying on outside manufacturers.
Fencepac's largest noise barrier project is the Coomera Connector Central on the Gold Coast. Across the broader portfolio, we have delivered more than $250 million in noise barrier work and completed 150+ major installations across Queensland.
Yes. Fencepac offers a wide range of custom decorative finishes including colours, textures, patterns, and relief designs on noise barrier panels. Because we manufacture in-house, we can tailor the finish to suit architectural intent, planning requirements, and the surrounding environment.
Yes. Fencepac offers full design capability including structural engineering, acoustic modelling, and custom aesthetic design. We can deliver a complete design-and-construct solution, from early planning and engineering through to installation and final certification.
